Console flooded with errors when creating any wire item

I recently formatted/clean installed. After reinstalling GMod I proceeded to install wiremod using the SVN. It downloaded everything ok, and the folders are in the correct place (in addons I have wire, wire model pack 1 and Adv Duplicator). The Wire menu appears in game, I select a tool, but when I click on something to create the item (button, logic gate, anything from wire), the item is created ok (no wire functionality), but the console is flooded with the following error messages:

When the mouse is over the item (in this case a button)
entities\base_wire_entity\shared.lua:15: attempt to call method 'GetNetworkedBeamString' (a nil value)

When the mouse is not over the item (in this case a button)
autorun/client/cl_wirelib.lua:96: attempt to call method 'GetNetworkedBeamInt' (a nil value)

I tried reinstalling wiremod again but with the same problem. I even downloaded the zipped version from garrysmod.org and that gave the same problem.

If anyone could help me then I would really appreciate it as I love wiremod and the stuff you can do with it.

Steam is completly updated? also, try deleting all in the garry's mod folder

Redownload your advanced duplicator folder. NetworkedBeams are defined in there i believe.

Tried redownloading Adv Duplicator and still no success.

Will remove Gmod folder tomorrow and let Steam redownload it then put wiremod on before I do any others. In the meantime any other suggestions?

do you have a pirated verson of gmod?

Considering he said he'd let Steam redownload it. I'd say it's legit.

I have a legal version of GMod. Deleted the whole folder, redownloading now, will take the better part of the day though as my internet isn't that great (student accommodation )

Duh, just delete the garrysmod folder in the steam folder, then it will create a new when you lauch new time, no need to download...

After reinstalling GMod and putting Wire on it now works. I installed Wire first and it's currently the only addon I have in there, so will update if any other addons I put on make the errors appear again. Thanks for your support!
