    Default I cant get a missle to track its target, need help.

    As the title suggest i can get the wired missle thing (found here Amraam Missile Addon 2.0 Download!) to track a target with out using the laser point reciever. I want to build a missle submarine but i need the missles to go after another player without having to find them first and target them with the laser. So my question is how can i wire a missle up to make it lock onto a target within a set range?
    So if my target is close and i tell the missle to fire it will go to the target instead of just going straight up or going where the laser pointer was last fired at (usally the find out im there and move there boat before the missle can hit them)

    Any help is welcomed.

    Well there is a fun little thing called the target finder & beacon sensor combo. As you have probably discovered, the misses use GPS, or the X Y Z. Now if you spawn a target finder, then spawn a beacon sensor to output gps only, you have a way of getting gps coordinates of the player.
    1: Spawn Target Finder with desired settings.
    2: Spawn a Beacon Sensor, RIGHT click on the Beacon sensor (hula girl) then RIGHT click on the target finder. Do that with the Beacon sensor tool out, not the wire tool.
    3: Wire the XYZ from the missile to the XYZ on the beacon sensor.
    4: Profit.
    5: ???

    Ok thanks for the infomation ill go try it out now.

    I could also use the same setup to build torpedos and missles to intercept other missles correct?


    EDIT: Ok just tried out the missle following your instructions and it lunched and flew up and went right back down when i told it to track
    The second time it went and did the same thing and the third time it hit me, but after that all it does is either go up and back down or go up and spin around in circles above my player.



    EDIT 2: ok never mind i fixed it. Had it set on output xyz or something like that and i changed it over to output world xyz and it went right for me
