Default How do I make Random Chip stop on the current number it's at?

Could someone explain how to do this for me? I have a constant value chip with values 1-10 that leads into the A of a random chip. It generates numbers between 1-10 so I connect the B of the random chip to the A of the rounder chip and then wire that to a screen. So, on the screen it shows random whole numbers between 1-10. The problem is, I want to freeze it on what ever number it is on when I click a button. Kind of like a raffle.

    Thanks

This function isn't on the random gate itself, you need a memory gate for it, the D-latch.
Wire up you A and B from the random to the constant value and then the Data input on the d-latch to the random gate and Clk to a button. When you press the button, the d-latch will allow new data to pass, release the button and it will output the last number it got.

Couldn't you use a expression chip for this?

    @ Takinu

You could, but the expressiongate is actually a complicated solution this time, not an easy one.

Why reinvent the wheel, so to speak, when there's already a gate that does exactly what you need?
