You have to connect the Multiplier first or else it gets buggy.
Hey guys. I'm fairly new to Gmod and i'm trying to wire up a homing missile. This missile includes a GPS, target finder, beacon, three arithmetic (subtract) chips, a wired numpad, and a vector thruster. I am able to wire everything up perfectly except for the wires the need to go from the vector thruster (x,y,z) to each of the gates (port a) that represent x,y,z. No matter which combination i try, i cannot wire port b of the subtract gates to any of the inputs on the vector thruster. The only thing i can manage to wire to the vector thruster is the wired numpad and nothing else. Am i doing something horribly wrong here or is this a bug? I do have the current version of wire btw.

(='.'=) PM me code and I'll send it back optimized if possible. (I find it fun dammit!)

Yeah, that's exactly what i've been doing. And if i'm not supposed to wire the vector thruster to the gates, then why am i seeing tutorials out there the specifically say to do so? There's a laser guided rocket, for example, that has you wire the gps to port A of the three gates (xyz) and the laser receiver to port B. Then the tutorial says, and i quote, "Wire the thruster in this order:
1. Mul wired to the numpad output "1"
2. X to the arithmatic chip for x-coords
3. Y to the chip for y
4. Z to the chip for z "
When it comes time to do this part, i can't wire a damned thing to the vector thruster![]()
Vector thruster X -> Chip "X"
Vector Thruster Y -> Chip "Y"
Vector Thruster Z -> Chip "Z"
Not
Chip Z -> Vector thruster
----
Subtract chips should be
Currentloc-Targetloc
GPS-TARGET
A -> GPS X/Y/Z
B -> Laser Pointer Reciever X/Y/Z
V.Thruster X/Y/Z -> Subtract Chip X/Y/Z
V.Thruster Mul -> Numpad input
Beacon sensor (Target/Rightclick with beacon tool)-> Laser Pointer Reciever.
Move it around alittle, Then rightclick the Laser Pointer Reciever with the laser pointer gun and point where you want it to go, If done correctly,It should go there.

Nevermind, i got it working now with a clean install of garry's mod and wire. I rewired the rocket the same way i was doing it before but this time the wires actually appeared and now the rocket tracks flawlesslyGuess i had too much in the addons folder. Thanks anyway guys.
