Forum trouble - links to old posts not working for me

This isn't technically a Wiremod problem, but rather a problem with the Wiremod forums. The forums have been invaluable in helping me to learn how to use Wiremod, but navigating it can be a little difficult, as the links people post to older posts don't seem to work, just leaving me at the forum index. I assume this is because the forum software has been changed at some point down the line, but I'm really not sure how to get around it to read those older posts without trawling through the forums by hand and looking for the ones I want. Please tell me there's an easier method?

Just search for the topic's title, I guess...

That's working in some cases, but a lot of the time people just link to what they "said in this thread" and that makes searching a little difficult.
