Wiremod Svn Guide

You installed it into your addons?
So did you make a new folder in the addons folder?

If you did make a new folder in addons and checkout into there, go into that new folder, there should be a "wire" "wire model pack 1" and "Adv Duplicator" folder. CUT those three folder and paste it into your addons. NOT into another folder in the addons. So you should have a:

Garrysmod\Garrysmod\Addons\wire
Garrysmod\Garrysmod\Addons\wire_model_pack_1
Garrysmod\Garrysmod\Addons\adv duplicator
folders.

Hey, I am having trouble getting everything thing to work. Only some of the tools are showing up. Some of the ones that don't work are the holo emitter (which doesn't even show up) and the expression gate. I had it working before but that was with a previuos version and the updated version together, but now it won't work. Somebody please respond.

um sounds kinda gay but i downloaded both folowd the manual on youtube and i cant see any images but afew like the monitor everything else is ERROR if you haave any solutions please reply

oh, do i have to keep the SVN file in there that was installed with wiremod or do i delete it?

Smurf, if you installed Wiremod via SVN, make sure you also have gotten the "Wire model pack 1" folder in your addons folder.

You need to have them like this:

gmod
- addons
- - wire
- - wire model pack 1

ok. so i downloaded wire model pack 1 and i used svn on it but i still cant see stuff like satilite moniters and other stuff. sorry for being such a noob :hang:

I'll make this as clear as I can.

Delete anything in your addons folder that is wire. (Wire, Wire Model Pack, Adv Dupe)
CHECKOUT THE ADDONS FOLDER. And do NOT make a folder inside addons and checkout that. Once you checkout the ADDONS folder, you may be prompt with this message something like this:

"This folder is not empty, do you wish to checkout anyways?"

You click Yes.


There, you now officially have wiremod installed.

Thank you! Finally got it working. Don't know if something changed on the SVN server or what but I had a wiremod folder inside addons instead of "Wire", "model pack", etc. Which if you follow the instructions you will get. I just moved everything back one directory and it's working.

Would anyone happen to have the latest TortoiseSVN client handy? Their download site seems to be down at the moment... :huh:
