I've downloaded TortoiseSVN, installed, restarted, killed my comp, and when I came back today I have no shell?

Basically it points me to having it in the shell, when, infact, I don't. What the hell is up with this?

I'm running Win XP SP2 /w/ IE 6

As in went to bed, not as in pulling the plug or doing something equally retarded.

Cooling your CPU with ice? BTW I have had no problems with Tortoise SVN. It's pretty nice and I even wrote a batch script to update all my SVNs at once.

Reinstalled it today.

Two things might have done it: 1. I placed it on D: and not C:, this shouldn't matter, especially not when the option is there. 2. I had real-time virus protection (Trend Micro) on. This has never caused any problems when installing anything I've ever installed on this PC, but this might have been one of those times that it did.

Anyway, it should work fine now, it at least shows up in the shell finally.

I don't like Tortoise because it integrates with the shell and I don't use Subversion repositories nearly enough to warrant that.

To everyone having issues with TortoiseSVN, might I recommend RapidSVN? I haven't had any problems with it.
I want to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
