I'm not sure what kind, but some sort of memory chip is needed here. I'd look it up for you, but I can't get on GMod right now, too busy playing all of my Pokemon games... (Why did I open up that case with every single one of them in it??)

It should be pretty easy. If I'm correct, you just wire the regular input of the gate to the comparison gate (from the ranger circuit), and wire the reset to the numpad. Then wire the hud to the output of the gate. I'm not sure if that is exactly how it works, but it should be something like that.

another (somewhat clunky) way of doing it would be with a default 0/ignore world ranger pointing down (like from the top of a door way or something)
then wire the A value of a "greater then" chip to the ranger and then wire the "clk" from a "d-latch" (comparison chips) to the > chip and the "data" from the d-latch to a wire numpad with an off value of 1 and on of 0 and then finally the hud to the d-latch

should make the hud flip on if someone walks through the ranger
and then to reset it just walk through it while holding what ever button you wired up from the numpad
