How do I use the pod controller?

Hi, I cannot figure out how to get the pod controller to work. I have done numerous searches but al I get is this stuff about iPods. So can someone explain to me how to get the pod controller working or link me to a tutorial please?

Pod controllers are amazing for a beginner.
I started wire-mod yesterday, and earlier I create a hover car, with turrets etc, controlled by rangers && pods...
