Problem was solved. Not sure why or how, but it corrected itsself.

And I know what the drivers are. what I mean is, he said to upgrade video drivers and chipset, then that the card was fine. I was under the impression that the chipset and the physical card, at least in this context, were one and the same, which is why I asked for elaboration. However, thanks for the link.
