First off, when you have issues with specific tools, you need to give us a condump and a wire_printversion.

Next, read the stickies. I'm not going to infract you since you have gone this long without an infraction, but if you make another post without editing your first one and giving us the condump and wire_printversion, I will.

Finally, I strongly advise you follow http://www.wiremod.com/forum/help-su...8-31-09-a.html . 98% of problems with wire working for one person and not for another are due to people with their need to download EVERY addon and EVERY tweak to garrysmod that has -ever- been released. The other 1.99% are from pirates.

Read the bold. You fall into this category. Follow the sticky closely, and download a fresh copy of wire from the SVN instead of using GLua.net. This is no longer optional if you want us to diagnose the problem.

Ha... I'd assume you noticed the "out of video memory" errors?

it's an nVidia Geforce FX 5900 XT (with 128 mb memory) - yes, it could definitely use more memory... but it's unbelievably smooth... at least to my standards.

[edit] I got and updated the SVN. Same exact thing occurs. I'm going to try updating gmod, perhaps they're new functions (probably not). I've posted a q menu, and the wire_printversion.

I posted the Qmenu, the printversion, updated Wiremod, cleaned out my addons folder a bit, and updated the condump.

Time for a video driver and chipset update. That card is fine.

Also grab the latest directx download (dxwebsetup) from MS to ensure you are fully up to date.

so... what specifically do you mean I should upgrade?

Forgive me for not understanding, and having such a possibly stupid question, but could you define a chipset, as you see it, in this context? I tend to get confused with this kind of thing (the words) .\
