Im new at the forums and wire mod aswell but I get how the simple stuff works. All I wanted was for the hydrualics to work and they at like ropes and I dont know how to make them enlarge. All they do is get smaller and not bigger again!

    1. to make hydraulics act like a slider insted of rigid rope check the box that says fixed in the stool menu.
    2. the way hydraulics work is the value you input to the controller (the siren thing) is the length the hydraulic trys to goto.

PS source units are quite small eg a normal doorway is about 80 units wide.

Ok that helps me with the hydrualics acting like ropes but there is still one more problem.
When I unfreeze the door when i put wire hydrualics on it, the hydrualic shortens all the way to where it's connected. Even when I properly attach wire stuff to make it bigger(that may of sounded like I didn't know what I was doing but I just can't explain that better) it still shortens to where it's connected. Can someone help me with that?

You also need to keep in mind that the weight of the object will affect the performance of the hydrualic.
-Indecision may or may not be a problem...
