    Ok well it partly works but not how I want it, this is because the TargetName part doesnt come up, only the "Name: " part. I have tried putting it in "" but that doesnt work either.
    Current Code:
    Code:
    @name Test
    @inputs Link:wirelink Target:entity
    @outputs
    @persist
    @trigger all

    interval (1000)

    TargetName = Target:name()

    Link:writeString("Name:" + TargetName,0,0,999)
    So for clarification the only thing that comes up on the screen is "Name: " and not the TargetName :/

    Looks fine to me..
    Is target:entity wired to a target finder? Are you sure it is a wired to a player which the tf outputs?

    Add an output TargetName:string and debug.

    You can also add Type = Target:type() and Type:string to outputs. That should show exactly what you have as target.

    Yes the Target:entity IS wired to a target finder, not sure what you mean by a player but I assume u mean a screen since you cant wire stuff to players >,<
    I have been wondering what could be wrong and I played around with the location of the text but it still doesnt seem to work. :-/

    Well, you might have set the target finder wrong, it might be outputting something else then a player's entity.

    When the entity is not a player :name() will return nothing, which was the problem. Add Type = Target:type() and Type:string to outputs and you should see if it is a player or not.
