It works with ragdolls is the fundamental thing, I don't think it works with NPCs, so there's no reason for it to then work with players.
Ok the new addition with bones to the E2 sounds pretty nice, but I haven't gotten around testing it yet.
So I'll just ask a quick question: Can I use the E2 Bones addition to find eg: The position of player E's leg?
Simpler: Does the bone addition work with players? If not, could it possibly be made?
I assume it doesn't but I think it should be pretty easy to implement.
Maybe make a new data type 'limbs' and make it have simple vector functions..?
Stuff like...
It sounds quite stupid as a suggestion I know but... Whatever >_>Code:HeadPos = Player:limb():head():pos()

The Olympus Technologies drones, totally not SkyNet in Gmod form.
Cronus: The Ultimate Drone, definitely SkyNet in Gmod form.
The gBrain Project, the drone controls system that thinks it's better than you
Just came through my mind making some kind of applyForce 'suit' that where the limbs of the suit follows my head, legs, arms and whatever...
1) it won't work on players there are no valid bones read in a player.
2) Unless the player's a ragdoll you'll never get a turret to do a head shot cause it will always report that the player has 1 bone at the map origin (I think it's a glitch.) Which you'd get if you aimed any anything but ragdolls.
So unless your head shot turret targets a player who is a ragdoll already (perhaps from some admin action) he's safe.
