I can see the lag already!
It's all in the name really. I want a wire component to view internet pages. I imagine it having an address input, a scroll left/right input (0,1,-1), a scroll up/down input (0,1,-1). It would also have an inbuilt mouse which can detect where you are pointing, and a use output. It may be very complex to do but I think it would be worth it. In a perfect world, this would be an addon for the console screen, but I doubt that is going to happen so....yeah.
EDIT:
Can we add a scroll up and down input to the console screen? This would move this strings one line up/down. Would be useful for PC's.

I though't maybe the idea was to create the internet using E2 or CPU/GPU. You know like GNet, 2.3 kb/s download speed!
Programmed in GMTL
Use pcmod :O
Or talk to that guy who makes it and ask if he can make it wiremod able?
What possible use could you have for this thing? Not counting "novelty" as a valid "use".
hmm, if lua socket radio can access http servers then it should be technically possible already if ungodly slow.
Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.
Super Easy Wire Download
Uses:
Awesome for wire mod PC.
A piece of programing to be proud of.
Useful for viewing pages without having to downsize gmod.
Something to boast about to other players.
Interesting to fiddle about with and write awesome E2 programs with.
An opportunity to introduce some new E2 functions for wirelink etc.
By the way I have never heard of GNet. Can someone send me a link to a web page for it or something like it?
Clicky
First result dammit xD
