hm... I wouldn't get your hopes up for getting this added. It sounds to me like a rather general addition for such a specific contraption. Also, I'm not 100% how it works but I suspect it would also be quite difficult to do what you're asking, since circumventing PP is easier said than done from a technical standpoint.

This would have to be implemented in some way by prop protection addons, there are too many and there is no common interface to them. We cannot support them all, so we don't support any.

Additionally, it's probably safe to assume that most prop protections are not flexible enough to support this without oddities.

The prop protection mods really should have a "Give Prop" stool.

Although, then you could get other people in trouble.

No, he wants the wired prop spawner to have it as an option. See quote:

He want to be able to build contraption that give away props for other users on the server to use. As it is now the props created are bound to him and others can't use them.
Having to set the protection on each manually isn't a good idea when you're making a contraption that creates props on the fly so he wants us to edit the tool and add an option for it to be automatic.

In response, and to reiterate what Syranide said, there are too many different prop protection routines out there with very different methods and since we can't possibly cater to all of them the choice of non-sharing adopted.

If you wish to edit the tool yourself for person use go right ahead.

and the stool turret can use any stool on the menu...

combine the two and a winnar is you!

I remember in a earlier revesion of wire that the prop spawner made the owner n/a on spawn and the first person to touch it got given ownership
