Wait for the GPU update.
Ah, so they've done it pretty crazily.
But seeing as they've done the resizing thing already... doesn't that mean you can use their code and just make the one interface?
How long till Adv HUD is completed do you think?

Hm, the text screen is good and all, but its not as variable. I was thinking that you could use like the text reciever, or the constant string tool with it.
So normally you have the inputs as Ch1 Ch2 etc, well you'd have those, but you'd also have ChNam1 ChNam2 etc aswell, and for the outputs, ChNum and ChNam.
Thats how I imagined it anyway, I really have no idea if thats practical or not.
Which is easier to do?

That sounds like it could be a mode for the same SENT...
"Preset Mode"
Each channel has its name set in the STOOL and they're fixed until you make a new SENT or update the existing one.
Inputs: Ch0, Ch1, ... Ch(n-1), Ch(n)
Outputs: Out
"String Input Mode"
Each channel has its name set by the Ch#Nam input or defaults to 'Channel #'
Inputs: Ch0, Ch0Nam, Ch1, Ch1Nam, ... Ch(n-1), Ch(n-1)Nam, Ch(n), Ch(n)Nam
Outputs: Out, OutNam
Both Modes
The number of inputs set by a slider ('cos I only ever use <8 or >8.... its annoying to have spare display elements...) hence the 'n' labeled inputs
Possibly an option for 'list mode' where -all- inputs are shown on the screen in a list, and each has a 'select' button next to it to choose an output?
As before - comment+crit?
PS: I'm not working on this this second... but we may as well get exactly what we want down first :P
Uhh, I didn't really understand that... Basically are you doing what I said? or merging the text screen?
EDIT:
Wait, i do get it, so you are doing what i suggested.
Nice. Lol i had to read it 4 times to get it.
So yeah, on your list thing, why not just do it so you wire a gate to the channel's number? The gate itself should be able to change numbers and select for you (e.g Expression gate). No need to overcomplicate things, but if you want to make it more newb friendly, then go ahead with that.
How long do you think it'll be before you start on it?
No pressure, just wondering.
