![]() | I began to create a wire detonation cord tool which uses the crossbow bolt as a model. But when I loaded up the game to test it out, I noticed there was already a tool called "Detonator" and actually, it sort of works how I intended it mine to. What I was wondering is, can we add the ability to unfreeze and unweld props within a 200 radius of the detonation, providing the user is admin? Also, can we add the crossbow bolt and crossbow bundles as models? If not, I'll continue with my version and include it in the wire extras svn. Mine will probably have randomly assigned colours to the cords so they look more like det-cord. |

![]() | Well, I was going to tweak that value but start at 200. Maybe the radius could have a limit. The only way to escape admin abuse has always been to join a server with admins that don't misbehave |

![]() | But then again, for the RP servers this would increase the level of realism keeping in mind that people there tend to spawn premade stuff (dupes) instead of taking long time to craft something neat. In that case bombing with unwield would make realistic feel - item parts scattered around, dust on the walls, children crying, a man looking for his arm... Whoops, got carried away... So um yeah, if this would get strong control from admin panel then it realy would be nice addition

![]() | I've decided to continue making it as a separate item to go in the wire extras repository, then if the wire devs like it, they can include it with the rest. I was definitely thinking in terms of Build RP building demolition. I could have a check-box for clean up props after demolition which causes them to fade out after a few seconds and remove themselves. |

![]() | It's mostly finished. Today I've been trying to understand the Advanced Duplicator. It's not behaving with radiosystems. I want to release the wire detcord in the next few days. |
