New wire Tool

How i understand your Idea, you want a System that generates a 2D wire platform, where you can overview every in and output? And link them without moving in 3D?

Or I'm totally wrong... (sorry, my english is not the best - how you have already noticed)

Yes thats the basic idea 2d linking for quicker linking i belive... but if anyone thinks allthis system is bollocks then please tell me its jsut something that i always thought may be the next step onto the wire and wire advanced tools

So, how would the objects to be wired be decided?

I propose that you click on every object you want to wire, then right click to enter wiring menu. It remembers all your selected objects for later re-wiring, and reload clears.

Yer thats what i tried to explain you right click on each chip/device you want to put into the menu then when you want to link you left click in the menu. Then if you want to clear selection you use R while you have the tool out or may be a button within the menu. That explain it well enough ?
