    Yah, wheels that have a rotation position input and a output of the position.

    This is possible, i think the best way to do this would be to create a motor constraint, monitor the angle of the servo, then fire the motor constraint in the appropriate direction when required, some nice control smoothing functions would make everything run a bit smoother.

    Put a ranger on the wheel and have it at a high friction level?

    Just my idea...
    Many aspects of Garry's Mod are hardly the pinnical of realisim.

    No, what I mean is that it will activly try to keep its position if rotated and that you can set the position by an input so ranger/wheel thing wont work.

    I had a play around with the following setup:
    A low torque wire wheel with a gyroscope exactly in the centre
    Expression gate with various equations.
    Sliders to control.

    It works to an extent, but at the 0 to 360 deg jump its starts to mess up. This can probably be overcome with some more advanced functions in the expression gate.
