I'd rather see a magnet that actually worked well more so than I would a wired one... although electro-magnets would be interesting...
i still don't get why this can't be done >_>
just make the magnet ent look for another magnet withing a certain radius (like the target finder)
then force it towards itself (strength of the magnet).. should be easy.
p.s. to force away, just give an negative strenght i think >_>

You know... I could create a magnet by grabbing a vector thruster, a beacon sensor, and a target finder and some small prop and name the prop with namer tool such that it will be the only thing the target finder locks onto. Then they will try and pull towards each other. If anyone is interested I could make a nice easy to use adv dupe if anyone wants. I could also add multiple target support.
well, although its fun, i rather have 1 ent for that.. allot faster and better to work with.

I say... yes to wired electromagnet (proper magnet, not the GMOD one).
