They should be like the normal radios except that they have another input that controls the channel they are connected to.

Then "real" radioes could be made (those where you can select a channel by turning a wheel)

That sounds like a really good idea, although i don't know how one would turn a wheel in GM all that well, so that would be a little tricky.... BUT

What we could do is create a "Radio Router" that could do the same thing, switching between the frequencies by switch input (like a router).

So pointlessly pointing out the pointlessness of this pointless signature is utterly pointless.

What i was thinking was just the radio having another input to choose what channel the radio operates in. The "real" radio was just an example...

    look at the attachement

    Ah!

    Edit:

Ok i get it that would be neat!

hmmm... you'd need a radio that would just accept values beyond 1 and 0

I wonder if this would call for a variable hydrolics....a hydrolic constraint that can accept values for distance... eg: if your radio relies on a slider, it could be replaced with a variable hydrolic, and in combo with a distance sensor, you could use some comparison gates and some switches, so you can push a button and the radio will be automaticly dialed to the right frequency, or you could do it manually
