    Default Wire Servo

Can we resurrect one (or more) of the servos please?

It's amazing how neglected, yet how useful it could be.

I've superficially used 2 so far (a tire model one and an ammo box model one). Not sure who did which. Tomb, isn't one of them yours? Anyway, I think it'd be good if we could add one of those, or another (even if it wasn't perfect) to the SVN.

It'd be helpful if it had duplicator support and if you could select the model yourself too.

Yeah... oddly the servo seems to be the most useful yet also neglected components for wire xD

We should revive a little more attention to it, its usefulness alone should have warranted a complete version put together... but alas... we wait XD

So pointlessly pointing out the pointlessness of this pointless signature is utterly pointless.

Yes i did make one but to be honest the meathod it used was very hacky and it was stupidly prone to breaking. eg you could break it by spinning it fast enough this sent it into an infinite loop till it hit the source speedlimit.
Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning.

I've got the ammo box model one, I use it regularly. Then it spazzes out, or decides to only work along one axis.

Yeah, definitely bring it back. It's necessary.

Its also neccesary to implement a model change feature.

I can't access any of the TT build servers, keep getting "reliable snapshot overflow" or "your wireconstruct_rc map is different to ours blah blah blah". Anyway, my ping for it is horrible (200+).

If you've come across it on a server, it'll be in your cache. You just have to look for it.
