Wire RFID & barcode tags/readers

Someone should make barcode and RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) tags and readers (If you don't know what these are search for them on wikipedia). They could be used for complex automated contraptions (for example a sorter). They should have a distance they can be read from option(on the RFID tags), and the barcode reader should be like this

There is already a keycard (Third party addon) that can work like a barcode, and The locator can do the RFID trick.

That&#39;s why I don&#39;t work on Wiremod addons anymore, btw. It seems that I can&#39;t create anything useful that doesn&#39;t fail after a few days (if they don&#39;t fail as soon as I post them here).
