I think a single radio unit with multiple channels would simplify things a bit, and would probably tidy up radio-controlled contraptions a bit. We wouldn't need that many channels per radio, maybe 4-5.

How about the radio tool works like it has 2 inputs. Input 1 is what it transfers, and input 2 is what channel it transfers/recieves on.
Hmm... 1 radio transmitting to multiple radios on different channels... Interesting. I'm sure I could find a use for that.
isnt hard to script but increase the conflicts of channels with 2 radios sending but if you really want it il code it and you just need to get tad to add it.

Meh... yeah, i did put in a proposal for Wire Networking Equipment that did have range limited radios... but i haven't seen anything come of it... which is sad because i really thing it would add to Wire a lot...
