Hydraulic

Today i was making a truck transform into a walker robot, and i noticed that the hydraulics don't quite work that great. it wouldn't lift my phx plates very well.. I think a svn on hydraulic tool, should make it so you set the force. so if you need something that weighs 10,000 (don't know what that is) the hydraulic could push it. it could also just be programed to make it have like 50,000 force, that way everything could be pushed.

Also another addition could be a rate of push, were you can tell i how fast to move in and out.

    Laser Pointer

I think that the laser pointer should have a secondary attack be a non toggled beam, and reload be link. so you can locate things better.

    Expression

Iv'e noticed that if i have like 20 lines of code, and i forgot a ; in line 13, it'll say something is wrong with the last line. not a huge deal, just a lil glitch.

    Hologram

If you notice, if you make it a straight line, there are big gaps between dots, if you go to fast. if there was a tick rate, that would be better.

    **New** RT Camera

Pretty obvious, a RT camera that you link up, a screen to the camera.

    **New** Slipery

sorta like the weld latch except with a slipery connection between two objects. it would be the equivelent of lube!YAY!!

    **Fix** Duplicator

I know there is an advanced duplicator, but the regular duplicator doesn't keep connections, maybe fix that

i got more ideas but they are kinda... i forgot em.

You can do this already, though. I'm not sure if I used an addon to do it with, but I used a tool that changed the material of a 1x1 PHX plate to "rendertarget". The results were obvious. I had a 1x1 PHX screen showing me the output of the RT Camera.

I normally use the wood fence (can't remember the exact name). It works like a huge screen. Use the material toolgun to change it to "Rendertarget". This is quite useful for security, though it can lag a little.

Not to add more minor-flaming, but the regular dupe isn't anything to do with wire so that goes on Facepunch, or pester Garry.

And i would like to see a strength input for a hydraulic
    Is currently not dead.

Hmm i think on the hydraulic that the force limitations are a flaw in the source engine and that you get around it by compairing the length output of the hydraulic (the 'true' length) to where you want to be and keep altering till i gets there. Also on the idea of a speed input i think that you can already do that with a smoother and the removal of 1 gate isnt really warrent for a remake. As remember wire isnt supposed to do everything for you its up to your ingenuity to fix problems.

    Wired Lube.
Physical Propeties would probably do this.
The strength thing for hydralic... dunno. Sure, I guess.
Laser pointer, expression gate. For now, don't understand them.
Hologram... make the distance smaller then. Unless fair enough, it's at 0.1 ;D

Hmm...the Laser Pointer one shouldn't be too hard. I agree that the link should be on reload, as you expect the primary and secondary attacks to have something to do with attacking .
<Anticept> i always thought that piss comes out of a womans ass....
