Basically I was wondering if someone could add a new Wire tool or update the existing one to include a function to select multiple wired objects and plug them into a single component. For example, I have a thing I am building that requires 6 thrusters to fire at the same value from a chip, so instead of needing to click each thruster and then the chip, I just select all the thrusters and then plug them into that chip.

As a workaround, place an identity gate near the thrusters, and use it to wire them. An identity gate doesn't do anything, it simply passes the value. Thusly, the output doesn't change, and you have neater wiring.
Grammar is the difference between "helping your uncle, Jack, off his horse" and "helping your uncle jack off his horse".

It's not really a neatness thing; I don't have the wires physically show (thickness is 0). It's more of a time saver. If I have 20 thrusters all requiring one value, I don't want to have to wire each one individually, I would rather select them all and then select where to wire them.

like press reload on all the thrusters so they r selected then just click the gate and they are wired.

As per request...

The Multi-Wire Tool (Learning Curve Included!)

As per request, the "Multi-Wire" stool.

What does it do you ask?

It is basically the wire tool...
You can select multipul inputs, then link them ALL to one single output. Useful for those of us who like to use 90 thrusters to go forward.

How to use: (Sorry, there is a learning curve on this one)

Left click will select a device, Right click will cycle through inputs.

Here is where it gets tricky, Once you want to link all your selected devices to an output, you press RELOAD (Very Important) Then Leftclick on the device you want the output from, you can then rightclick to select the output, and then leftclick to confirm the output.

Please do not give me a bunch of credit for this, I did not write this from scratch, I used the old wire_tool script, and modified it to work this way. You can thank me if you want, but this was only an hour or two script job.
[Edit] Forgive any bad spelling or grammar, its 6am and I have not slept in a very long time

Also, if you find any bugs, PM me, I did a pretty rigorous test on it, and didn't find any problems, but... Yeh don't catch everything.
