I kinda need this SWEP- An Advanced Pod Controller Controller/Selector

I want to make an SWEP which can be spawned by any player which allows him to remote control any Advanced Pod Controllers belonging to him/ made by him. He simply presses E to exit again. He should also be able to use the next and previous weapon buttons.
When you select the SWEP, a menu should come up with a list of all your APCs and a scroll bar. You just click one to use it.
Maybe later on, there could be a weapon model and have it as a laptop which opens up when you select the weapon.
I suppose you could get it list your APCs, then depending on which you select, spawn a pod and link it to that APC for you, but I'm no lua coder.

There is a weapon that comes with wire that does basically this.

The remote control. Look in the weapons section of the Q-menu for it, or hold down E while looking at an adv. pod controller. You can't select pod controllers remotely, but it still lets you control them.

I am aware of this. Basically what I need then is anything which can select APCs remotely, even if I have to use a console command or something- it doesnt necessarily have to be an swep. Just a console command which brings up a list of my APCs so i can link them with my Remote Control.

Simple, go up to an APC , left click click on it with the remote control then press use when not looking at the APC. Simple as.

some logic gates will do this, one pod controller with its outputs wired into some sort of selection gate, route the outputs to the apc you want to control

this sounds decent enough to make, but even if somebody doesn't do it. the fact still remains that the adv pod's remote control is half broken.

You can change between pods with e2.

Don't know how to do this, would appreciate if someone made a lua or something that has a console command to bring up a menu, where you can select which APC your remote control is linked to.
