ok so i have seen screens that stream from youtube and other sort of things that you shouldn't be able to do in gmod and i was thinking i wish i could make a wirecomputer that could surf the web but i have shift+tab for that then i thought what if i could use IRC in wire mod its light weight and easy to use and has clients that can be used by simple robotics to relay commands. now i am new to wire mod so i don't know if it uses REAL programing languages or if wiremod computers can access the internet. (if not then some one should hop on that!).
the second thing is dose wiremod have a IRC chat room?

List of Reasons to idle on the IRC: Wire QDB
IRC is fun to interface with. Once you get the basics working it's a blast. You MAY be able to connect to IRC servers with the WSR, I'm not sure. If not, it'd be nice for someone to write a TCP extension for E2.
the idea works in theory but would probably be laggy. Jat Goodwin suggested "we created a c shell that it sends the Commands to". I would want to avoid this because of security problems and compatibility any one who used the system would have to down load the C shell. i would like to make this into a project and would host a server to work on if we got that far. i just wish i was a wire guru because i would like to make this happen.
i am very much a noob in wiremod
do you mind removing my ip from your post
