I think the wire weight is bad, since it does not directly alter the props weight like the weight stool.

The color of a prop can already be changed with the colorer, but it needs to be directed at the prop.

Conna's Fading Door stool makes a person able to walk through a prop, but this also changes the material. Making a wired version would be cooler. EDIT: anything welded, ball-socketed, ect would remain on the prop

What I had in mind was a Prop-Controller, like the Pod-Controller it will link to a certain prop.
You now have the option of changing the; weight, color (red, green, blue, fade), gravity (on/off), walk-through, ect.

This would help a lot when building contraptions, since you would be able to control every prop with the power of wire.

With a walk-through prop that is its original color, you could make secret entrances to your castle.
With the color you could now make a prop that worked as a wire light (without the glow) that could change how you wanted.

Wire does have all the abilities to attach things to props, but never the direct control of the prop.

The only problem I see with using a tool like that with wire, is that all values are set to zero by default, which means for every prop using a prop controller, you need a set of values, and a set of wires respectively.

It could have defaults that are not zero but the previous value, if possible, when the input is not wired.

Meh, could use a RAM chip, but you'd have to encode the info in a nifty way to represent all of that information...

Shandolum and Syranide might know a thing or two about that...

You could use a Clk input... so it only sets when that is 1.

Instead of make a Prop-Controller like the Pod Controller... Why not make it work like the simple wired explosives where you copy a model using reload. then you directly wire to the prop. I've been looking for a first project to work on with Lua but have never got around to finding and doing it, I willstart on this now. Thanks Shan for the idea.

Any things you'd like to include just pm me or post here. Here is the current list I have of Inputs and Outputs (! = in, @ = out and # = both):
6!Clk (sets Clk for ALL CLKS, be careful)
    0#Color_R
    0#Color_G
    0#Color_B
    0#Color_A
    0#Color_Clk
    0#Weight
    0#Weight_Clk
0#Material (unsure in how to implement)
    0#Material_Clk
    0#NoCollide
    0@Highspeed Link
    0#Gravity
    0#Gravity_Clk
    0#Light_Rad
    0#Light_Dir
    0#Light_R
    0#Light_G
    0#Light_B
    0#Light_Clk
    0#NoClip
    0#Unconstrain
    0#Pitch
    0#Roll
    0#Yaw
    0!Pitch_Velocity
    0!Roll_Velocity
    0!Yaw_Velocity
    0#X
    0#Y
    0#Z
    0!X_Velocity
    0!Y_Velocity
    0!Z_Velocity
    0!HoverMode
    0!Jump
    0!SetJumpTarget
    0#Health_Current
    0#Health_Max
    0#Health_Clk
    0!Ignite
    0!Ignite_Length

    Since there are soooooo many inputs... I added a number beofre each one 0 = unrated, 1 = NO, 2 = MAYBE, 3 = WOULD BE GOOD, 4 = LIKE IT, 5 = YES.

    Please respond,
    Deco Da Man.

or make a new drop down like the one right over the "wire" tool (gate)
just call it "god of proops" (XD just a idea) with lots of different gates(controllers) like "walk trouh, light, ect bah blah
