Life support doesn't detect light. It merely casts a ray from the sun to the solar panel to see if there is anything in the way, and if not, determines its unobstructed and thus operational.It seems Lifesupport's solar panels can detect when there's light, but I'm suggesting a way to detect specific illumination[/b]
An actual color sensor would be neat, though, I agree. Finally we could make real cameras. But that's been in the air for like, ever, so I don't think it's going to happen, at least not anytime soon.
