More detector tools

How about tools to detect light and sound levels? It seems Lifesupport's solar panels can detect when there's light, but I'm suggesting a way to detect specific illumination and volume levels....is it possible?

Life support doesn't detect light. It merely casts a ray from the sun to the solar panel to see if there is anything in the way, and if not, determines its unobstructed and thus operational.

An actual color sensor would be neat, though, I agree. Finally we could make real cameras. But that's been in the air for like, ever, so I don't think it's going to happen, at least not anytime soon.

Rangers can detect color..... then give out values like RGB and Alpha....

It would be nice to have a prop detector tool though... if it detects a prop then output 1 else 0, & a range option etc.

That sounds like a ranger to me.
