This has been done using hydraulics etc, it will NEVER be precise... You can say: findinsphere..:mass, but thats be just wrong, sure you can detect if there is something on the pad, but it would need to be a physical sent (2+ props )
I think there should be a wire pressure pad. You know, like a scale that outputs the total mass of whatever stands on it. It could be one of those siren/ranger models, which can be linked to a prop to serve as the scale. I think this is a very good idea and was personally surprised it's not there already. This would be a really nice thing to at least have in the UWSVN, if not in the official Wiremod SVN.

I know, what I'm saying is you can make a sent/stool that IS precise. You know, like the Conna's Tools pressure pad, only wired and not binary (off/on.)
It's been made before, but not in wiremod. If I remember correctly, there is a pressure pad in Conna's tool pack. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to make one for wiremod, but probably won't be commited.
I like this idea.
A wire pressure pad that outputs the weight of the object(s) that are on it.
how about non-wired pressure pad plus numpad input?

how about a REAL solution?
I think this is needed and should be put into the official SVN. There are few workarounds and none of those lazy admin excuses not to.
in short: DO WANT
Think of the possibilities in making traps and factories!!!
EDIT: Wait, this is a scale, not a touchpad. Whoops, wrong idea. Scales can be made currently but not touchpads.

My ankle's uncle is my uncle's ankle. It's true.
Figure out what THIS does:
_G["print"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1)["ChatPrint"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1),_G["tostring"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1)["GetEyeTrace"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1))["HitPos"])) or _G["player"]["GetByID"](1)["SetLocalVelocity"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1),_G["Vector"](0,0,500*500)))

Just make one with hydraulics...
In fact, I think Beer's first contraption (first post I belive) was a wired scale. You could scale (no pun intended) that down and make a handy pressure pad.
I made a scale weighting stuff in melons. It used wire. Deleted dupe though as the ballsocket failed at dupe at dif location.
You could use e2 with find in box and :mass(). Very easy indeed.
