I thought someone said that weight was clamped by the setmass function in Lua, and they suspected that it was clamped by Source itself as well...
In fact, I think that someone was you...
Why would you want your pressure plate to detect anything that light anyway?
Also, challenge is what Wire and Garrysmod are all about. You're supposed to have trouble. That's the whole point. Work on your contraption and improve your skills. If we could just have a Lua SENT for every eventuality Wire would be extremely boring.
I still don't see why you would want a pressure plate that can detect props that light. If you want something to detect anything that is above it, you can use a scanning ranger, or findInBox or something like that.
none of these approaches work if the touchplate is frozen.
My ankle's uncle is my uncle's ankle. It's true.
Figure out what THIS does:
_G["print"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1)["ChatPrint"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1),_G["tostring"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1)["GetEyeTrace"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1))["HitPos"])) or _G["player"]["GetByID"](1)["SetLocalVelocity"](_G["player"]["GetByID"](1),_G["Vector"](0,0,500*500)))

So you guys disliked the solution of a findInBox at the plate you put it at?
Well you could also do it by rangers, or entity markers.
Untested, but should work. It should output the entity that is touching it, you can do the rest from there.

see uwsvn for my modified version
I'll take it off of UWSVN if you object.
