Anything that uses sliders cannot be trusted, so I guess E2 is the best way. A scale can be made currently, but not a Touchplate. That's what I meant in the last post -- something that returns 1 when touched.

Explained: A scale can be used as a touch plate. I mean, come on pepole, this is Wiremod.
Or, get the normal reading &Code:Scale -> Delta -> Sign -> (Whatever)
Or, if your scale has the decoding stuff built in...Code:Scale -> Is Not Equal -> (Whatever) ^ | Constant Value

Source physics is kind of jumpy though, so there might be false positives. You also can't just freely rotate the object without causing a false positive.
I actually have a wired pressure plate, and it outputs the number of touching objects and players, but unfortunately it's a Sextender plugin.

Well, the assumption is that it wouldn't need to detect anyone while you're moving it around. Source physics is jumpy, but I doubt it's jumpy enough to create false positives. Wire it up to a round gate. The lowest mass possible in Gmod (Confirm?) is 10 units, I doubt physics glitches will give you an error of even one unit.
By the way, I would like to be able to set the place the round gate rounds to...
