i made a ranger at a door once and is someone ran thrue it quickley te rangers did not react bycose to beam is verry small (i think) and if i put beam on it also looks small maybe that you can set te Width of it (not visual effect) but for the detection.

I can't see how you could possibly run through it without having major luck on your side.
Anyway, put two rangers or angle them differently and your problem is solved.
the reason you can run through it is the fact the the ranger only checks a certain number of times a second so a sufficiently quick and small object can pass through between checks.
