couldnt you technically "hack" your gyros to zero with some add or subtract gates?
Tho having a right click option on the gyro tool to "reset axis" would be neat
Making a setting on the gyroscope that allows it to have a different point 0 for Pitch/Roll/Yaw. Like say you wire the Yaw to a value of 180 so it would have 0 there instead and act like a gyro in all other ways. Would be usefull for pod-controlled turrets.
Could also be done with linking the gyro to another gyro that sets the 0 values.
Hope this can be made, as it will greatly increase the creativity and effectiveness of my contraptions.

I've tried several attempts at using gates and expressions, but there is always a problem with them at some point.
and I am thinking more of a changing axis.

Can't you just rotate it and weld in the position you like?
That will not make it dynamic. changed be the values of another gyro or values.

So what you wanna do is recalibrate the gyro's "zero position"

exactly. by the use of a link or by values that can change in the contraption.

A "Recalibrate" input would work, m'yes. I can't think of a lot of applications from the tip of my head, but I'm sure it would be more than useful.
