Target Finder track laser pointer

Hey, I just thought it would be a good idea to have the target finder track the laser pointer in addition to the laser pointer receiver (i.e. as a checkbox similar to the track players, track npcs, track locators, etc).

This would make it easier to have things go to or aim at the laser pointer's destination. For example: If you are launching a missile at the laser pointer location, you can either have a GPS on the missile and have to use pythagorean's theorem or trig and figure out angles and shit to get the missile to go towards the location, or you can use a beacon sensor linked to a target finder (linked to your laser pointer). This makes it much easier.

how about if i make the reciever have the same outputs as the beacon sensor?

I think he means something like lock on so you can see you you are painted by a laser.
If he means that i agree could be verry handy.

he wants outputs like bearing and local xyz as it is quite hard to target most things based on world coordinates.

scratch lots of outputs what if i just make it so you can link a becon sensor to the reciever and remove the recievers distance output?

Definetly going to make a modification to my turret for this soon.

i modifyed a similar turret to use the laser pointer. i didn&#39;t save the ex gates but i could recreate and give you the code if you want.
