    I'd like both.

If it's possible (although I doubt it is), I would also like an option to turn each menu on or off.

Switching tabs laggs for about 5 seconds for me, so it'd be really annoying to keep switching between tabs maybe a button to switch it between normal and tab?(probably not possible) or just have both

I'd say, move everything to a new tab. I have mods other than the Wire mod installed, and my Q-menu is really getting clogged up with menu's.

Yah menus can get clogged... if your an add-on nut

I've got several addons that make my menu very long and scrolling up and down all the time is a pain in the butt too...

I think this vote is quite decisive: theres nobody who likes the current system.

Any developer willing to logically move everything into 2 or 3 wiremod tabs?

It's pure chaos now: a cat wouldn't find her own youngs in this mess!

    I'm kind of split.

I would like a new tab, because having to scroll all the way up for the remover is annoying...

Yet, the current way is nice because it is all in one single menu.

I'll choose keep and new. (Option 2)

I vote for moving to one tab. It'd be much cleaner and more organized.

My ideal situation would be 3 tabs:
    -Default Gmod tools
    -Wiremod tools
-Non-wiremod addon tools (cannons, harpoons, stackers,...)

This way the weld and remove stools are closeby in tab 1, not too much clutter from all the addons in tab 3 (from which you mostly only need one "shot" in your whole contraption) and all wiremod in one clear list.

A system where you could configure your own menu would be great of course, but I think a 3-tab system would be the most logical and useful way for most of us.

Shine your light on this issue please.

If possible I would like the Wire toolgun separate from the normal one. So I can just plop on the components with the normal toolgun, and then switch to the wire without having to go into the menu.

It would make adding and wiring gates a lot easier.
