The buttons i'm talking about are Mouse4, and Mouse5.

Of course, its not really worth it if only 1% of the community has a mouse with the extra buttons (4,5) but its worth a thought, wouldn't you agree?
the names of the existing inputs are actually misleading.
    R = reload = mouse4 here
space = jump = del here
if you want mouse4/5, bind them

well the thing is we want extra inputs.
But it leaves me with a grate idea what dont we create so custom inputs for the pod controller that we can bind to.
for example we could have cust1 and cust2 and then do some bind commands like:
    bind p wire_podcon_cust1

sounds stupid but would be cool.

or an asci output on the pod controller that outputs our keys (press page up to exit) but you turn the keyboard mode on with an input. eg "Keyboard On" I could think of loads of uses for that.

I feel like im about to be flamed for this oh well.

(in my defence what im saying is combining the wired keyboard and pod con. That way we can make tanks where u press a button and can then type in a commands into a console screen based system. then exit again. plus rember that keyboard stops us from chatting so when its of we can chat in the pod.)

    How about..

We separate the Mouse and Keyboard controls. We have one controller for all the keyboard commands, and one for all the mouse commands, with extensions, like up to 8 buttons on the Mouse controller.

    Eh? How 'boot dem apples?

wire keyboard+wire eyepod = full mouse and keyboard input. so stop requesting input-related features :P

you sit in a pod and link both keyboard and eyepod to it.

    I've got a Logitech MX1000 Laser.

And yeah, adding new buttons to adv. pod controller is a good idea.Mouse scroll,mouse3 and why not add these arrows on keyboard (up,down,left,right.. you know what i mean )

By the way, hello everyone! This is my first post : p
