Wire Freezer/Facer Turret Question

Currently, I have a mouse-aimed turret. I made this using the Facer tool, and an advanced pod control. But as you may know, the facer can only work while frozen in place, not welded, on an axis, ball socket, etc. I'm trying to mount a mouse-aimed turret on a moving vehicle. And I was hoping that the wire freezer (in the unofficial wiremod addons pack) would allow me to freeze the facer when I sat in the chair (since I hooked 'Activate' up to the 'Active' value on the pod control) but I had no luck.

If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, or general knowledge of how to get the wire freezer tool to work, your help is appreciated.

I would also like to know how to get a facer to start at a certain angle. Because when a facer prop is spawned, the front of the prop is preset, and I would like to wire something up so that the facer starts at a different angle. (I want to use the facepunch icon as a facer turret and the beams come out of the eyes, but it is laying flat on it's side.) Help for this would be appreciated as well smile.gif

Hey Nukebomb24,

With your mouse aimed turret, if u weld that to a vechile set the weight of it to 0 an no colide it, also if u wish to make the turret smoother try multi parenting all the contents (objects you have welded to the facer(not including the vechile)). And i am aware that every prop in the game will always face north when using the facer tool, there may be a way to copy the prop and put it on a different axis so it faces a different way when spawning a facer.
