Wiremod Missing, Presumed Ignored - Page 2

well, i have no choice, files in my addon folder are ignored. i even reinstalled GMod to no positive effect.

one last shot. would GMod read the files through file shortcuts? if it can, i can have GMod read the files after distribution and update them, too.

hmm, thanks moogle, i'll try that. i already tried something similar, but i didnt think to ladder up my files. oh, more news: 3 days ago, i joined my brother's LAN, and wiremod worked fine, minus a few model errors. i had just deleted all distributed wiremod files and didn't download any from his compy, so this leads me to believe that it is a client file error. But im sure i already cleaned out my client files in the lua folder. are there more client files elsewhere? i havent gotten a chance to check because i just came back from a 3-day trip (got back this morning at 2

) and im rather busy.

YEEES, it worked moogle

thanks. now i just have to wait for the wiremod server to stop actively denying my svn download requests and i can update it, rather than just run it from copied files ;_;

hmm, damn, it's been a while and the svn still wont check out, it says "the target machine actively denied your request". what the hell's up?!

Not so funny: the server receives a request from your SVN software, sees that it has nothing to do with it and responds with a "request denied", resulting in that error
