Tutorial 12 up. Thanks for the support guys

Also, Ganessi: No, the pod controller only works with the pod vehicle to my knowledge. If you don't want a big pod sticking out of your vehicle you can always go to color and change the slider all the way on the right to 0 and shoot the pod to make it invisible.

Orb, these things have helped me so much. Everything that I saw, on the wiki and stuff, was saying crap like "connect this to that" and I never understood like, which one I should click first, since they never told me.

May I just say, with a staunch record of heterosexuality... That I love you.

To be honest with you, tutorial 13 kind of seemed to lack that depth you usually put into your tutorials. It might just be that I'm already familiar with all of those by now, though. But I would've liked you to actually explain the digital and console screens as well, they aren't really that "advanced"... I haven't yet quite figured out how the console works, specifically the CharParam input confuses me, with all the low-3-digits-for-background-color or whatever stuff.

Tutorial 13 wasn't like the other tutorials because most of my tutorials teach specific things with regards to wiremod. The displays are less technical and don't require (as far as I assumed) the in-depth-ness I usually put in.

Also, on the poll on trickystutorials.com over 50% of people said that they thought my tutorials were way too long.

Wow, I'm trying to do the latest tutorial and I'm already stuck.

Orb, when you are wiring up the decoder, you are getting it to show the A-H outputs. But I have no idea what you are clicking to show those. Right-clicking only gives me the two inputs. It might help to say, "Ok, I'm right-clicking to cycle thru the outputs." Even knowing which thing to click first is confusing! I've spent all kinds of time confused as to what items to click first. "Ok, so to wire this up we always click on the chip first, and then we click on the sensor." That kind of stuff would be all kinds of helpful.

One other tip: when you are demonstrating things, it might help to start with the end in mind. "Ok, so here's what we need to do. When the player is to the left of the platform, we need to get that left thruster to fire. To do that, we need to feed it an input of 1. On the start of the circuit, we have the ranger giving us '652'. Here's how we get from 652 to the 1 we need."

Thanks again -- these are really helpful. When I figure out what's going on, I'll try to help out drafting some simple tutorials.

Your tutorials too long? Bull, I like the way you explain almost every part of the contraption you're making. Example is the auto-turret, just the last few minutes where you talked about rangers and using it for the weapon on the front made me understand rangers instantly, at first i had no idea wat it was good for, but now I do, thanks orb!! *worships*
