    Default Quadruple Lock

(Video and link to blueprint at bottom)

First of all, I only just discovered not only this forum, but that there are people just like me that still prefer gates above that what shall not be named.

Most of the contraptions I am somewhat proud of were created by me in an RP server, and I might post more.

Now for the contraption, the Quadruple Lock:

    Features:
    - Four settings for you Keypad.
    - Fairness.

    Description:
A panel with 4 indicators that will light up in order, rotating the setting when the button is pressed.
Each indicator represents a setting, from 1 to 4.
Only with the correct setting and an active keypad, the lock is 'opened'.

    Usage:
Pick a setting, crack, see result, if result, move on, if no result, repeat.

    Notes:
The randomisation is perfectly fair, I made a testing rig, and with 15,000 tests the results were 1:25% 2:25% 3:25% 4:25%.
Also, a new number is picked AFTER the lock 'recloses', preventing errors.
One cannot change the setting when the keypad is active. This is because when it wouldn't have been, and the keypad has a holding time of, say, 5 seconds, one could mash the button during those 5 seconds untill the numbers matched, making this contraption obsolete.
Used an increment/decrement instead of increment because increment resets to 0 and increment/decrement resets to 1.

I made this because this saves space/saves keypads/looks neater than just having 4 keypads on your wall.

Will edit this post if I missed something.

Nice one man I think too gates are awesome and should not be forgoten as something old and be labeled as "Gate Nostalgia" when they are the part that was wiremod at first.
    Now to the topic.
Nice one but i didnt understand its function quite well, this allows you to have 4 passwords with one keypad?
Also can u upload a dupe of it pre made? Blueprints are good for learning but a dupe is easier for more ppl to check it out too
I just also wanna say im making a cpu with only gates and it will be able to have modules and stuff that will work with op codes :P i will have it done in some days along with a mathematics module a time module and a still alive module :P

Nice blueprint tho good of you to share it

Finally, after 100 views somebody replied, thanks for that awdrgyjil.

Like I said, I made this thing in a roleplay server.
In said servers you have Thieves, which have Keypad Crackers.
These hack the keypad, making it's value true even without having entered the correct password (after like 10 seconds of cracking).
With my contraption, they can still crack the keypad, but if the setting isn't right, they don't actually open anything.
So instead of a 100% succes rate after cracking a keypad, they only have a 25% succes rate (the first try).

Will post an adv.dupe when I have time.

So, there are 4 lights switching when you press button and if correct one lights you can actually open the door.
