uZASM - a ZASM compiler written in ZASM

[Black Phoenix]

uZASM (read: microZASM) is a very small, fast ZASM compiler written in ZASM. It runs on ZCPU, and allows you to compile programs without the CPU stool or any manual iteraction.

You just specify pointer to null-terminated string holding source code, and pointer to where it should write the code. If you have AlcyoneOS installed, you might want to also install Alcyone Notepad, and use it to write assembly sourcecode.

Alcyone version outputs .com files, which can be ran by the OS.

Yes I know about the obvious joke that I?m obligated to make. Yes, we put ZASM in your ZASM so you can code while you code.

These are the features it currently bears:

• Support for all ZCPU opcodes
• 128 preset labels you can use (named @0 through @127)
• Support for reg, #reg, 123, #123 operands
• Can output files in COM file format for AlcyoneOS
• Very quick (in ZCPU terms), and can run own code after compiling

Right now it's available as program for Fizyks AlcyoneOS. You can get it from the GWCD SVN. (username: anonsvn, password: anonsvn).

Compile the uzasm.txt file (by default it's configured to compile as floppy image for Fizyks OS, see it's thread in this subforum. It will tell you how to get this floppy image onto the computer itself).

No, this works inside gmod, as inside as you can get. You're thinking of http://www.wiremod.com/forum/cpu-tut...-emulator.html . That program works out of GMOD, and it gives you access to console screen, gpu, and cpu programming
