    Default Warwick Castle Trebuchet

Thought I might as well post it here too.

Shoots quite a bit further once you remove velocity limits.

    Based on this:

Made with E2, five weld latches, two advanced ballsockets, one grabber and a pair of giant wheels.

    EDIT:

    Dupe.

You would be wise to keep the PHX plate at the very bottom frozen, since everything except the stuff attached to the short arm is welded to it (the short arm is axised to it) and it will wobble dangerously if it's unfrozen. Lifting the treb would be a pretty bad idea as well. If you want to launch it with something other than your numpad, just wire your button or whatever to "Draw".

The trebuchet is well done. It's design is great

PS. you could change the music. Tenacious D isn't the best for this contraption / video .

You're actually the first one to say the music is bad as opposed to awesome. >_>

Anyway, I picked it because I didn't have anything better that clocked at around 1 minute.

Awesome. I think I saw this on FP and it is truly the best catapult I've ever seen in GMod (probably is the best).

Age of Empires music in the second video? Cool. It did remind me of that game.

Actually all trebuchets are catapults but not all catapults are trebuchets. My arm is a catapult if I use it right.

On topic: Very stylish trebuchet, and perfect choice of music.
If in doubt, stick your finger in it.
