Thruster Only Expression

Here is the expression code that I am using for my current free-flying Spacebuild ship. Tell me what you guys think...

X= (Forward == 0 & activeX == 0 & activeY == 0 & activeZ == 0 ? SpeedometerX : activeX)

Y= (activeX == 0 & activeY == 0 & activeZ == 0 ? SpeedometerY : activeY)

Z= (activeX == 0 & activeY == 0 & activeZ == 0 ? SpeedometerZ : activeZ)

Speedometers(XYZ) are welded to their respective Vector Thrusters at the front centre(X), back left and back right of the ship. Forward thrust is generated by a single wired thruster at the back of the ship.

The expression is copied 3 times and applied to each set of speedometer/vector thrusters


Thoughts? any way to improve or effiecientsize?

Don't bother with E1, skip to E2.

Instead of your expression use multiply gates.

Add a logic (NOT) after your forward input.

To the multiply, wire the speedo:x and and logic chip
then wire the VT:x to the multiply.

Wire YZ straight from the thruster to the speedometer.

Use the VT mul input to toggle the whole thing on and off.

Try some easier expressions to start with, by the way.
This one was very, very rough.
