    Default [Concept] Turn-crank to start some sort of spinning motor

    Yeah. A turn-crank type thing attached to a round prop which causes something else to rotate upon its own power.

    Pretty simple but the possibilities are massive. What ya think?

    This can be done using the standard Gmod advanced ballsocket tool.

    Yea thats how most handmade engines like zeos' work as also shown in his tuts.

    ...And this, lads, is what we call "blissfully ignoring the idea presented in the thread."

    Seriously, think old-type cars. Cars you had to start using a turncrank. That happens to NOT be advanced ball-socket. The ball-socket tools can't do ANY powering by themselves. I'm talking wire stuff that detects the rotation speed of something and if it's higher than a certain amount, give it spin power and if it's not higher than that amount don't give it spin power.

    well i think you just answered your self.

    I'm talking wire stuff that detects the rotation speed of something and if it's higher than a certain amount, give it spin power and if it's not higher than that amount don't give it spin power.
    speedometer, greater than or equal to gate with a constant value.....and then whatever your method of motion is

    1: this is not the suggestions area, 2: the idea of garys mod is to make these things yourself >.> im not sure if you want someoen to code a tool or seomthing for you.
