Well its not much wire, but you use your laser pointer to draw anywhere. I didn't take any screen shots cause i was gonna get a demo, but once i started my demo, my laserpointer would point and then i stoped and it still didnt.

Pretty easy to make.
A holo-emitter with GPS coordinates, that gets its values from a laser-pointers GPS coordinates. When you point, the holo will draw in the exact location you are pointing.
Nothing much, but it is pretty cool.

i think i just thunk... what if you strapped together a ranger a gyro and a gps so you got the gps coordinates of where you where pointing then used that to scan over an object leaving a 3d representation of it after you move it. or you could remove the gps and use local coordinates to draw the object elsewhere

Already tried making that for a holo-recreator, but it is impossible to make it perfect right now since you can't place them in the exact same place.

It would be far better if the ranger could give the exact coordinates of where it was pointing.

i have thrusters that need no fuel, a tool to move any known mass, and the ability to bond 2 items with an infinite amount of force and you dare tell me something is impossible.
