nonsense. real programmers don't care about form! :P
Well, code for owner would be: return self.owner
Code to return var would be: return self.vars[varname]
So it would be slightly faster, but not a real difference. Form before function.

I actually remember that post by Cyranide, IIRC, it was recalling a variable be it a number/entity/whatever, takes 2 ops but owner() & entity() only take 1 op. It's really a lot simpler to know what's being affected y what since entity() can only be one thing but E can be anything.
i noticed that in your codes, at the end you have anti dupe codes
if(duped()) {selfDestructAll()} works well unless you have it on a contraption that is in a dupe...
i find it helpful to use...
if(owner():steamID()!="<SteamID here>") {selfDestructAll()}
yes, you are right, he would be the only one able to use it, but i was saying he could put that in his codes that he wants to release with a # before them and tell people to put in their steam IDs
Why? The goddam thing is released. Who cares if someone dupes it? It's not yours anyway.
i normaly just leave it there , because im lazy to remove them =P (my bad)
i love the scanning anim. i might recreate it and implement it into some contraptions (of course ill put u in credits if i release it). thanks for the idea!
