    I saw the same thread on facepunch, and I wanted to answer to some of it... So I'm going to quote facepunch from here for two reasons:
    Facepunch is blocked in school.
    Wiremod.com is calmer than facepunch.

    I was planning making it 3rd person, it was more hypothetical if I were to make it first person, then I would have fading props. But I still want to have a nice detailed interior cockpit

    Making the chair drop is an idea, I dont think it will be easy to implement though, I might just make the bottom of the chair stick out the bottom enough for a person to press E on it

    It would be cooler. How about using the weld latch to weld it to the main prop when in flight, then unwelding it and using applyForce to drop it down when not flying?

    Actually I just about finished the cockpit last night. It is a little bit more cramped in there than I thought. Luckly pushing the chair down just enough for the player's head to not be in the cieling worked perfectly, It sticks out the bottom just enough to get in from the outside. I think I am going to try to make some landing gear for the Drone cause otherwise it gets too low to the ground to get in when it is off.

    I also got the fading cockpit windows to work nicely, so it should be controllable by 1st and 3rd person. Also, it does not star up as soon as you get in, There is a power button and a cockpit window button at the moment, so you dont have to use the fading windows if you want to do 3rd person, it just looks awesome though.

    I also tuned the sounds a little more, It sounds big and heavy but also really quick and agile. This thing looks like a shark flying through the air.

    its understandable if you don't want to release the thing itself now but could you give out just the shell of the hk

    I made a cheap-o version of this a few days ago. It wasn't that hard at all actually, once I figured out a good plan. I used adv. ballsocket to attatch four plates with thrusters on them, wired the thrusters up to a thruster hovering E2, put a keep upright on all the pods and the main body, and then wrote a control E2. The E2 applys enough torque to break the keep upright, but the ballsocket only lets it rotate 45 degrees in either direction. When I stop applying the torque, the keep upright forces the pods back to 0 degrees. W points all of the pods back, S points them forward, A points the left ones forward and the right ones back, D points the right ones forward and the left ones back. It worked perfectly, although I'm having trouble making it go up and down.
